Week 57 - I'm going to miss Sister Sampson!

Hey Ya'll!!

So this is a quick summary of an awesome adventurous week!

LOVE HER SO MUCH, and will miss her!
1st of all We got T-Doc (Transfer calls)!!!! I am training a new missionary!! I am really excited and super nervous at the same time 😅 but I am excited to learn a lot from this Sister!! I can't wait to meet her on Wednesday!!

With Transfers comes Sister Sampson going home:( I am going to miss her alot! I am grateful for these 2 transfers I had with her as my comp! I love her guts❤ She is going to change lives back home just like she has on her mission!!

So on Monday we had a sweet P-day!! We went Go-carting with the District, and Sister Sampson beat everyone😂 It was a party!

Bed Bugs!😢
We mowed this ladies yard, and a trimmer is
harder to use than you would think!!
Then on Tuesday we went on exchanges with Sister Cronin and Lewis. Sister Cronin came with me to Pawhuska, and it was quite the exchange. I got bit bad the night before and I had a feeling to look under the mattress. I was thinking Bed Bugs, but was trying to avoid that thought...well there they were those disgusting bugs😥  BED BUGS are gross and they stink to get rid of! So just be clean so you never ever get them!!!! we pulled them in probably from a couch we sat on, but we got them this past Monday and all week we spent spraying, throwing everything in the washer and dryer. I never thought I would learn so much about a bug, I never wanted to!  LOL just avoid them, they are the worst!😂  Sister Cronin was so patient with the situation! She is an Angel, and was just so positive the whole time! That girl is just amazing and I love her!!!

The rest of the week we had a few lessons with some new people we have met. One lady, named Pam saw our truck and waved us to come over, we went over and got to know her and introduced the Book of Mormon to her. She is awesome and we can't wait to teach her next week again!!

Dancing at the Osage Ceremony!!!
Serving in the Osage Nation community has been a blast! The native culture is fascinating and having a companion that knows all this cool stuff is a plus!  We got to go to their Ulunshca (totally butchered that spelling) which is a ceremony for the men and honoring them as warriors. Sister Sampson and I got to dance with the women, and participate!  It was the coolest thing ever!!!  A lot of the native culture has similar symbolism as the temple and the Gospel. It is super fascinating!  We sat with the Jacobs family in our branch. Both Brother and Sister Jacobs are Osage and explained all the cool stuff to us. They even speak the language!

I love being out here with these amazing people. They are all so close to God or what they call Their creator:)
Great things are happening in Pawhuska!! New adventures await, and I am so excited to see this new sister influence Pawhuska in an amazing way!!!

Chicken with an Afro🤘
Your Challenge this week is to make your prayers focused on seeking personal revelation for yourself. I have found it helps when you go in a room by yourself and say a prayer out loud. Seeking to know God's will for you strengthens you so much and gives you a greater hope and faith for the future.  I have done this and have seen so many trials turn into strengths, and have helped me grow so much!

I LOVE Ya'll so much!!!! have a great week!!!!!
