This week has been so good and so busy! We have been doing our best to make those we are teaching vital in our daily contacting, and finding new opportunities to teach. We have been doing our best to talk to everyone we see, and sometimes that can be hard if we are trying to "book it" to an appointment. But listening to the Spirit makes all the difference:)
The highlight of the week was definitely watching conference. I don't know about ya'll, but it was absolutely amazing! I am so grateful for inspired leaders who listen to the promptings of the Spirit to know what to say. We got to watch it with an amazing family we are teaching. This family was so pumped to make the morning session super special. My incredible and inspired mom emailed me last week and encouraged us to do our best to find a family to watch conference with. She said that they will be so blessed by the messages. Well this family got to hear the first session directed towards families, and how they should teach gospel principles in love and righteousness. Moments before the talks, there was a fight between dad and son in the back room. When things cooled off the dad came in for a talk about using love for correction:) He immediately changed his tone and he showed his kids more love the rest of the morning. He even told his son he loved him:) I love how the Lord knows what each of his children need to hear, in the moment that it is needed.

We even watched the Saturday afternoon session with a less active sister who struggles to come to church because of fear she will be judged. We watched her really focus in on Elder Uchtdorf as he gave his talk about how much we need her to come back. We all couldn't help but laugh a little:) It was totally for her!!! He said that sometimes people are painfully imperfect, but we are all trying our best for one goal and purpose - returning to live with our Father in Heaven. I was touched by Sister Jones talk on service. We should serve because we love the Savior, not just because we need to get something done on our checklist. I am going to really pray and see how I can better live this. The whole conference I got so much out of it. It definitely helps praying before hand to hear something that would help me.
Well, the Lord knows me and each of you. The most rewarding thing about being on a mission is seeing the change in those we teach. It's miraculous how the Savior can change each of us:) My testimony has been strengthened this week to hear the words of President Nelson. I specifically want to grow my testimony of the Book of Mormon, and I am grateful for his challenge to us sisters. I have a testimony, but I need to strengthen it. We can all grow and strengthen something about ourselves and our testimonies of the Gospel.

go through your notes in conference and pick the talk that stood out the most to you. If you haven't watched it, I, with all of my heart, encourage you to watch it. I can promise you will hear something God wanted you to hear:) You can go on LDS.org to do so
Then after finding that Golden talk, I want you to
study it and find something you want to change or do better because of it. I can promise you the words of our leaders are from the Lord. I am grateful and know we are lead by a prophet called of God. His words and council mean everything to me. I know that he will never lead us astray. If you just listen to him speak you will feel the same way. His words are a message from the Lord to you
